Come and join us at Newport Community Hub for a relaxed 2.5-hour Social Sewing session.
Bring along any current project you’re working on and your own sewing machine, or simply enjoy hand stitching your latest creation. We’ll have plenty of tables for easy set-up — perfect for cutting, prepping, or spreading out and getting comfortable.
This session is all about connection as much as creativity. You’re also very welcome to bring craft books, enjoy a cup of tea, and simply relax in the company of others — no pressure to sew the whole time.
We now have access to an Overlocker for those who have experience in using one.
Cost:
💗 $20 per person
We’re hoping to make this a regular gathering, and as the group grows, we’d love to introduce monthly demonstrations, guest presentations, and optional mini workshop add-ons.
